On the Radio

Mrs. Penney and her amazing 4^th graders wowed the crowd on Thursday, May 8^th with their rendition of “On the Radio!” What talent the students exhibited as they performed favorites like “On the Radio,” “Ain’t We Got Fun,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” and “Hound Dog.” The opening numbers were not to be out done by the rock band style performance of “Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” which featured students with base guitars jamming to the music. Enthusiasm and excitement was felt by all when the students performed their closing number “Footloose.” Mrs. Penney, as well as teachers and parents, could not be prouder of their performance! Mrs. Penney worked all semester with our children to produce and direct a beautiful musical! Thanks so much Mrs. Penney and congratulations kids on a job well done!
