On Tuesday, November 10, 2009, Mrs. Presley and her amazing choir presented a Veteran’s Day program for Gonzales Elementary staff, students, parents, and veterans.  Girls Scouts presented the colors and conducted the Pledge of Allegiance.  The choir sang “The Star-Spangled Banner”, “ We Remember”, and “Taps”.  Also presented was a beautiful video thanking our veterans for all they have done for our country.  Mrs. Presley named the victims of the tragedy at Fort Hood, followed by a moment of silence.  We hope that the veterans present felt honored by the presentation.
