The cross-country team competed at district yesterday here in Gonzales. Varsity Girls and Boys took first place.

Leading the varsity girls was Maria Aguayo capturing 1^st place. Kelsey Ostrander took 2^nd. Kimberly DeLeon took 3^rd.  Amber Torres took 7^th.

Kaylee Pearson took 15^th , Jessica Baker took 25^th and Brittany Pakebusch took 27^th.

The varsity boys was lead by Rigo Jaime taking 2^nd place, Misa Ontiveros took 4^th, Gilbert Chavez 7^th, Jose Olade 8^th, Augustine Martinez 9^th, Sergio Silvestre 13^th and Raziel Romero 21^st.

The JV boys also took 1^st.

Leading the team in first place was Eduardo Silvestre. Luis Guerro took 2^nd,Chris Garcia 4^th, Tyler Morgan 5^th, Micheal Guerro 6^th, Darnell Arnic 7^th and Trey Lester took  9^th Place.

The JV Girls fell short one runner of taking 1^st place.

Leading the team was Alexis Zumwalt in 2^nd place. Pilar Hood took 4^th, Lauren Parr took 6^th place and Katie Staton took 8^th.

Both Girls and Boys Varsity teams will compete at Regionals Nov. 7^th in San Antonio.
