Hello, my name is Christie Schroeder. It is a pleasure to welcome you and your children to Gonzales Junior High. I am beginning my 7th year as the school nurse with GISD and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have been a nurse for 16 years now with experience in med/surg, ob/gyn, ER/ICU, brain injury, geriatrics, pediatrics, and rehabilitation. I have to say that working with children has and still is one of the best experiences in my nursing career.
In my personal time….I have a very busy, but enjoyable life. I am happily married to Gary Schroeder. I am also.... the mother of three wonderful blessings. My oldest is Zack….a senior, and then there is Brooke…who is in 5th grade and the youngest ….Kynleigh, who is in 1st grade. Out of school, we enjoy going to the lake, watching movies, shopping, and just over all…..hanging out together. There is never a dull moment, but only plenty of joy with my family.
I really look forward to coming to school every day to care for your children. It is a delight to see how much children change at this age.
