I am proud to serve as principal of GJHS. I stand on the shoulders of many members in my family before me who chose education as a lifelong profession. I graduated from GHS in 1984 and Southwest Texas State University in 1989. My teaching career began in Waelder, TX-Waelder ISD, and Houston, TX-Sheldon and Alief ISD from 1989-2001. I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Texas Southern University in 1999. I then became an Administrator in Gonzales, in August 2001.
