I have taught school for 30+ years. I am GT certified and have taught third grade for 20+ years. I have been TELPAC/Bilingual trained and serve on the DEIC committee.
My husband, Steve, and I live in Gonzales where he is the Senior Associate Pastor at the First Baptist Church. We are both Howard Payne University graduates and I did post graduate study at the University of Houston and Southwestern Theological Seminary.
We have two children. They are both graduates of Howard Payne University also.
Kristen, our daughter, is the mom of a fourth grade son and a second grade daughter. She is the owner/manager of the Yogo Bowl (frozen yogurt) in Georgetown, Texas, and is on the musical staff at Bannockburn Baptist Church in Austin.
Our son, Bo, is married to Courtney, who works at Baylor University in Waco. They are the proud parents of a new baby girl born November 14th. Bo just received his Master’s Degree from Dallas Baptist University and is the Worship Leader at Meadowbrook Baptist Church.
