Notice

Gonzales ISD has received some questions regarding a notice from the City of Gonzales regarding the water system quality report most recently issued.

On Friday, August 22, 2014, we received the notice which included a statement that we do NOT need to use an alternative water supply. The report goes on to advise that for individuals with health issues may want to talk to your doctor to get more information about how this may affect you.

The report is entitled Mandatory Language for a Maximum Contaminant Level Violation MCL, LRAA/TOTAL HALOACETIC ACIDS (HAA5). Click on the link below to view the report:

Again, we have been advised that we do NOT need to use an alternative water supply. The report goes on to advise that for individuals with health issues may want to talk to your doctor to get more information about how this may affect you.

If you have questions regarding this matter, you may contact Gary Shock City of Gonzales Water/Wastewater Director at 830-672-3525.
